NACPB CPB 2026 License Renewal
All Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) licenses expire on December 31.
Licensees are required to renew their licenses each year to determine if they continue to qualify to hold themselves out as a CPB. Each licensee is responsible to renew their license PRIOR to the expiration date.
Licensees must complete the Application for License Renewal and CPE Reporting Certification Form. Licensees must return the Application and Form to NACPB no later than December 31, 2025.
Your 2026 license certificate will be mailed to you upon approval of your completed Application and Form, and payment of the license renewal fee.
New 2026 License
If you obtained your license during 2025, your license expires December 31, 2026. Therefore, you are not required to renew your license or obtain continuing professional education during 2025.
Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Requirements
