Effective January 1, 2027, you must be a licensed:
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) to join NACPB,
- Certified Accounting Paraprofessional (CAP) to join NACAP, or
- Certified Tax Professional (CTP) to join NACTP.
NACPB, NACAP, and NACTP will change their member benefits to aid licensed members.
In addition, membership dues will only be used to build the license brand awareness.
If you became a NACPB, NACAP, or NACTP member during 2026, your membership will be grandfathered in until your annual membership expires in 2027.
You will also have the option of transferring your membership to a Consortia Accounting Community subscription.
