NACPB Members

A bookkeeper is a person who completes the first three steps of the accounting cycle:

  1. Identify transactions
  2. Record transactions
  3. Classify transactions

Full-charge bookkeepers or accountants complete the remaining steps in the accounting cycle.

  1. Prepare a Trial Balance
  2. Analyze the Trial Balance
  3. Make adjustments
  4. Generate financial statements
  5. Close the books.

NACPB is an association of bookkeepers who want to:
