We are pleased to announce the National Association of Certified Accounting Paraprofessionals (NACAP). NACAP is the sister association of NACPB.

NACPB produces America's most qualified bookkeepers providing America's #1 bookkeeping education, certification, experience, and license.

NACAP produces America's most qualified accounting paraprofessionals providing America's #1 accounting paraprofessional education, certification, experience, and license.

Accounting paraprofessionals begin as bookkeepers, then further their skills learning accounting.

Accounting Paraprofessional

An accounting paraprofessional performs bookkeeping and accounting procedures.

  1. Identify financial transactions,
  2. Record financial transactions,
  3. Classify financial transactions,
  4. Prepare an unadjusted trial balance,
  5. Analyze unadjusted trial balance accounts,
  6. Adjusting trial balance accounts with adjusting entries, and
  7. Preparing financial statements.

Purpose

NACAP educates, certifies, trains, provides experience for, and licenses accounting paraprofessionals.

NACAP connects highly qualified accounting paraprofessionals with small (local) accounting firms and small businesses.
