Please note: The Uniform CPS Examination is included with the NACPB Payroll Certification program.
Overview
The online, Uniform CPS Examination is used to test the NACPB Payroll Certification or Payroll Certification Specialist (CPS) candidate's payroll, payroll processing, and payroll tax form preparation competency. The Exam consists of eighty multiple choice questions. You request access to the Exam via email or telephone and we email you the link to the Exam. You must request access to the Exam during NACPB business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MT. You have 24 hours to take and submit the Exam for grading and the Exam is "open-book". You must receive an 80% in order to pass the Exam. Exam results are emailed to you within 24 hours. If necessary, you must wait one week to retake the Exam.
