NACPB offers three professional bookkeeper licenses as follows:

Certified Public Bookkeeper
The Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) license serves to protect the public interest by helping to ensure that only qualified individuals become licensed. The CPB license provides assurance to small business and nonprofit owners and employees that CPBs are trusted and competent professional bookkeepers.

Certified QuickBooks Advisor
The Certified QuickBooks Advisor (CQA) license serves to protect the public interest by helping to ensure that only qualified individuals become licensed. The CQA license assures small business and nonprofit owners and employees that CQAs are trusted and competent professional QuickBooks advisors.

Payroll Certification Specialist
The Payroll Certification Specialist (CPS) license serves to protect the public interest by helping to ensure that only qualified individuals become licensed. The CPS license provides assurance to small business and nonprofit owners and employees that CPSs are trusted and competent payroll processors.
