The NACPB Certified QuickBooks Certification program was developed by a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm to educate and certify the firm's professional QuickBooks personnel to assist the firm's degreed accountants and CPAs in performing public QuickBooks setup, training, and support services. Over the past 10 years, the QuickBooks Certification program has been used by hundreds of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax firms to educate and certify QuickBooks personnel.
Objective
The objective of the Program is to ensure you possess the knowledge and skills to use the QuickBooks Accountant Edition to setup, train, and support QuickBooks users.

Requirements
The Program includes an educational component comprised of the following two self-study DVDs: Mastering QuickBooks for Accountants Level 1 and Mastering QuickBooks for Accountants Level 2. These DVDs are for public bookkeepers, accountants, and QuickBooks advisors who want to learn or enhance their knowledge of QuickBooks Premier: Accountant Edition and serve as the educational foundation for our Uniform CQA Examination. The DVDs can also be used as educational tools for QuickBooks personnel.
To earn NACPB QuickBooks Certification, candidates must complete the following steps:
1. Study one of the DVDs.
2. Request access to the DVD's part of the online Uniform CQA Examination.
3. Successfully complete and pass DVD's part of the online Uniform CQA Examination.
4. Repeat steps 1. - 3. for the remaining DVD.
Individuals who meet these requirements receive NACPB QuickBooks Certification.

Interactive Self-study DVD Training
Interactive DVD training is a perfect way to earn your NACPB QuickBooks Certification and learn how to use QuickBooks Premier: Accountant Edition accurately and productively. This training is facilitated by experienced, certified experts giving you the ability to:
- Learn at your own pace anytime and anyplace with your computer or laptop
- Run the training and QuickBooks Premier: Accountant Edition at the same time--learning and applying simultaneously
- Get to the topics and the answers you want fast with the convenient searchable index

Mastering QuickBooks for Accountants Level 1 training DVD - 12 hours
Mastering QuickBooks for Accountants Level 2 training DVD - 10 hours
Uniform CQA Examination Pre-tests and Exams
The online, two-part, Uniform CQA Examination is used to test the NACPB QuickBooks or Certified QuickBooks Advisor (CQA) candidate's QuickBooks Premier: Accountant Edition competency. Each part of the Exam consists of multiple choice questions and each part may be taken separately. As you complete each QuickBooks self-study training DVD, you may request access to the corresponding part of the pre-test exam via email or telephone and we email you a link to the part of the pre-test exam requested. Once you are ready to take a part of the final exam, you request access to the corresponding part of the final exam. You must request access to a pre-test exam or final exam during NACPB business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MT. You have 24 hours to take and submit the pre-test or final exam for grading. You must receive an 80% in order to pass the exam. Test results are made available to you within 24 hours. If necessary, you must wait one full week to retake the exam. Both the pre-test and final exams are accessed upon request. To request an exam, please email exams@nacpb.org or call 866-444-9989.
The Uniform CQA Examination tests the following:
Part 1: Mastering QuickBooks for Accountants Level 1 Pre-test and Final Exam - 2 hours
Part 2: Mastering QuickBooks for Accountants Level 2 Pre-test and Final Exam - 2 hours
